• Contrast Kitchen Island Piece Using Osborne Concord Legs

Todd L. recently tried his hand at a kitchen island design, and succeeded! Todd’s island design concept consisted of a table top made of alternating Black Walnut and Hard Maple pieces. The top was finished with a mineral oil to emphasize the contrasting wood tones, while keeping the natural appeal of the wood. The apron and legs are made of Soft Maple and finished with a black dye. The result is absolutely stunning.

Todd chose to use four of Osborne Wood Products Husky Concord Island Post (Part #1472). This simple, yet elegant 4″ x 4″ leg adds just the right touch to the design. The bottom blocks of the legs give the leg a unique look, and can also be used for a bottom rail option if desired.

Todd sent us photos of the unfinished design, as well the finished product. He also added about his customer service experience, “Originally, one of the legs came in with a dent in it, and you guys replaced it immediately with no issues. Very thankful for that.” It was our pleasure Todd. We want to make sure our customers receive quality products for their projects.

Amazing work Todd! We love this design! Thank you for sharing.
